Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating a Pukena account or booking a professional through our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The marketplace
Pukena connects households with independent service professionals. Professionals are not employees of Pukena. We facilitate introductions, vetting, scheduling and payments — the working arrangement is between you and the professional.
3. Payments
Recruitment processing fees and placement-related amounts are processed securely. Cancellation policies are communicated before you commit. Ongoing salaries are between you and your worker unless you choose a management arrangement where stated.
4. Conduct
You agree to treat professionals with dignity and to provide a safe working environment. Discrimination, harassment or abuse will result in immediate account suspension.
5. Liability
Pukena's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to a claim. We do not warrant the outcome of any individual placement beyond the replacement guarantee outlined in our FAQ.
