Managed Services & Payroll Lead

About the role

• •Classic household / fleet payroll desk, powered by Pukena’s in-app invoices instead of WhatsApp and spreadsheets.
• •You review every draft bill before a client sees it, and you run replacements when a placement breaks.

Traditional responsibilities

The core of the job — how this role shows up in a staffing or household ops team, with or without software.

• •Build and check monthly salary, overtime, travel, and extra-day charges against the engagement terms
• •Chase clock-outs and dispute stories with staff and employers until the numbers are fair
• •Run replacement and conversion cases with clear communication on both sides
• •Advise on mid-month starts, live-in rules (no OT), and salary review requests
• •Keep clients and founder informed when cash or attendance goes off-track

You will also run these workflows in the admin console — tools that support the work above, not the whole job description.

• •Review, approve, and send draft payroll invoices each month
• •Monitor Attendance (clock-out, OT, travel, extra days)
• •Process replacements, conversions, and salary reviews in Operations
• •Partner with Finance on paid / disbursed flags and Earnings rollup

What we're looking for

• •2+ years in agency payroll, household HR, or managed staffing operations
• •Strong numeracy — comfortable with line-item invoices and pro-rata salary
• •Patient follow-up with drivers, clients, and admin on attendance disputes
• •Integrity — never issue an invoice you have not reviewed
• •Based in Lagos

Nice to have

• •Experience with monthly driver overtime in Lagos households
• •Familiarity with Paystack payroll or wallet flows
• •Prior use of attendance or timesheet tools
